Pakistan, July 16 -- Syria's security forces have reportedly foiled an attempt to smuggle advanced weapons to Hezbollah in Lebanon, according to the Syrian Interior Ministry. Authorities said the operation was carried out near the Iraqi border. The development highlights continued regional concerns over illegal arms transfers.
