Pakistan, July 10 -- Syrian authorities have arrested a group suspected of carrying out the recent bombings in the capital, Damascus, Interior Minister Anas Khattab announced, describing the operation as a significant step in the ongoing investigation.

According to a statement carried by the state-run Syrian Arab News (SANA), the suspects were taken into custody following security operations conducted after Tuesday's attacks. The interior minister said the group believed to be responsible for the bombings is now under arrest.
