Pakistan, Sept. 18 -- A man in his 60s has died after a shark attacked him while he was swimming near Sorrento Beach in Perth. The fatal incident prompted authorities to close all beaches across the City of Joondalup. Emergency services reached the area shortly after 10:30 a.m.

The victim had been swimming with another person when the shark attacked, according to witnesses. Western Australia Police confirmed that the man died in the incident. Witnesses described the attack as emergency crews began responding to the scene.
