Pakistan, May 18 -- District Returning Officer Sukkur Nadir Shehzad Khan on Sunday visited several polling stations in the district to review arrangements for by-elections being held on two local government seats.

During the visit, Khan inspected the voting process and polling camps set up around the stations in line with Election Commission of Pakistan regulations. He received briefings from presiding officers and polling staff on arrangements, procedures and other operational matters.

The DRO directed officials to ensure smooth conduct of polling throughout the day and instructed them to immediately contact the Assistant Returning Officer in case of any untoward incident.
