Pakistan, June 29 -- Skywatchers across Pakistan are expected to witness the spectacular Strawberry Moon tonight as the full moon reaches its peak phase at 7:56pm. Astronomers say the moon is likely to appear unusually large and display a striking orange colour, making it one of the most attractive lunar events of the year.

Experts explained that the moon may look bigger than usual because it will appear low on the horizon, where atmospheric conditions can create the illusion of a larger size. At the same time, increased scattering of light through the atmosphere often gives the moon its distinctive orange or golden appearance.
