Pakistan, Oct. 4 -- There are moments in history when silence becomes more than silence. It becomes a choice. On September 24, as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, hundreds of protesters gathered outside the UN headquarters. The demonstration, organised by Jewish Voice for Peace, was not an obscure gathering at the margins of society. Jewish, Palestinian, Iranian and Lebanese New Yorkers stood together, joined by elected officials, candidates, artists and activists.
