Pakistan, Oct. 26 -- Minister of State for Finance and Railways Bilal Azhar Kayani on Sunday said that the government is taking concrete steps toward Economic development, industrial stability, and the promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), including restructuring and revitalizing the SMEDA board.

He emphasized that the government's primary role is to facilitate and empower the private sector. Under this vision, Jhelum will be transformed into a thriving regional economic and commercial hub by leveraging its immense potential, high literacy rate, and peaceful environment, said a news release.
