Pakistan, July 31 -- Spain has announced the deployment of military forces to the North African enclave of Ceuta after thousands of migrants crossed the border from Morocco, triggering a major security crisis that left at least nine people dead.

The decision came after authorities in Ceuta requested urgent reinforcements as large crowds breached the border fence and overwhelmed local security forces. Spain's government said the Armed Forces would assist the Civil Guard in restoring order and maintaining security across the territory.
