Pakistan, Sept. 13 -- South Korea has secured a final victory in a 264 billion won ($197 million) investment dispute involving Chinese investor Min Fengzhen. The country's Justice Ministry said an annulment panel rejected Min's challenge against the dismissal of his investment claim. The ruling marks South Korea's first victory after a full hearing of an international investor claim.

The dispute arose from Min's allegations that South Korea violated protections under an investment treaty between Seoul and Beijing. The case involved a lender's seizure and sale of pledged shares linked to a failed property development project in Beijing. Min had challenged the treatment of his investment under the bilateral treaty.
