Pakistan, Aug. 15 -- Record-breaking heat in South Korea has severely damaged agricultural crops, causing major losses for farmers. Potatoes and cabbages were among the hardest-hit produce.
Farmers in northeastern Gangwon province found potatoes soft and spoiled before harvesting them. The damage affected fields in the Haean area of Yanggu County.

Local media reported that the potatoes appeared healthy just one week earlier. However, farmers found large quantities damaged after digging into the affected fields.
