Pakistan, Sept. 4 -- The Sindh Environmental Protection (Sepa) has decided to take strict action against vehicles emitting excessive smoke and contributing to air pollution, and has formally approached the deputy inspector general of traffic police for cooperation in the campaign. On the directives of Sindh Environment, Climate Change and Coastal Development Secretary Faisal Uqaili, Sepa has issued a schedule for its Vehicular Emission Control Campaign, under which vehicles will be inspected at various locations across Karachi from Sept 1 to Sept 30, 2026.
