Pakistan, Oct. 29 -- Singapore's Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan will undertake an official visit to Islamabad on Friday, October 30. The Foreign Office of Pakistan confirmed that the diplomatic visit comes following a formal invitation from Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar. Official diplomatic representatives emphasized that the visit carries high significance as both nations commemorate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations. Furthermore, the visit takes place ahead of Singapore assuming the chairmanship of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in 2027.
