Pakistan, Nov. 6 -- The Sindh government has taken a significant step towards expanding educational opportunities for the transgender community and removing barriers to education by deciding to provide scholarships to transgender students for higher education through the Sindh education endowment fund. It was also agreed that the draft Sindh transgender education policy would be further strengthened through consultations with the community, while ensuring the participation of all relevant stakeholders in the policy approval process.
