Pakistan, April 30 -- An important meeting of the Standing Committee on Home Affairs was held at the Sindh Assembly, Karachi, chaired by Chairperson Faryal Talpur.

The meeting held detailed discussions on key issues including narcotics, street crime, law and order, the Kacha operation, and the Sindh Forensic Science Laboratory.

Addressing the meeting, Chairperson Faryal Talpur stated that drugs are destroying the younger generation, and every segment of society must play its role in combating this menace. She directed the police to take effective measures to eliminate drugs and to carry out an indiscriminate and vigorous crackdown against drug mafias.
