Pakistan, Nov. 3 -- The Sindh government officially fixed the support price of wheat at Rs4,500 per maund across the province. Senior Sindh Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon announced the policy decision during a formal press conference in Karachi on Tuesday. Furthermore, the provincial cabinet reduced the wheat rate from the previous level of Rs5,000 per maund to stabilize essential food commodity prices. Consequently, provincial authorities expect the price reduction to alleviate financial pressure on consumers and maintain market stability. Therefore, government administrative teams are monitoring local grain markets to ensure strict compliance with official prices.
