Pakistan, May 18 -- The Sindh government has approved the purchase and deployment of 500 new electric buses under a public-private partnership model aimed at improving public transport infrastructure across the province.

The decision was announced in the Sindh Assembly, where senior minister Sharjeel Inam Memon confirmed that the new electric buses will be introduced on multiple routes, including Karachi and other urban centres.
