KARACHI, April 29 -- Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, addressing a press conference at the Karachi Press Club via video link from the United States, paid tribute to Pakistan's Field Marshal and Chief of Defence Forces Hafiz Syed Asim Munir, saying that under his leadership Pakistan demonstrated its military strength during Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos.

Pannun claimed that Pakistan's response to India had enhanced the country's standing on the global stage, adding that since India's attack and subsequent setback, Pakistan had emerged as a rising global power.
