Pakistan, June 10 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the federal government and provinces made decisions in Pakistan's best interest during the National Economic Council meeting. He said the consultations ensured unity on key development and fiscal priorities. The remarks come as Pakistan prepares its federal and provincial budgets for FY2026-27.

Addressing the NEC, the prime minister said all stakeholders were engaged with seriousness during consultations. He thanked the chief ministers for their cooperation in shaping national development plans. Moreover, he said collective decision-making strengthened policy coordination across the federation.
