Pakistan, July 3 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif departed for Turkiye on Friday after concluding official engagements in Iran. He attended funeral prayers and a condolence ceremony for Iran's late Supreme Leader before leaving Tehran. The visit reaffirmed Pakistan's solidarity with Iran during a period of national mourning.

Earlier, the prime minister participated in the condolence ceremony alongside Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir. Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, and Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also accompanied the premier during the engagements.
