Pakistan, May 1 -- The Federal Constitutional Court on Thursday suspended the Sindh High Court's ruling in a case concerning recruitments to Grade 17 and above posts, and issued notices to all parties for further proceedings. A three-member bench headed by Justice Hasan Azhar Rizvi heard the case. During the hearing, the court questioned how appointments to posts in Grade 17 and above had been made without the involvement of the Public Service Commission, and whether the prescribed recruitment procedure had been followed at the time. The Additional Advocate General Sindh informed the court that 11 individuals had been appointed in Grades 17, 18, and 19 under a government project, which has since been completed.
