Karachi, Sept. 2 -- The Sindh High Court has rejected a request to form a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) for the Mir Raza murder case. The court directed investigators to complete the probe fairly and quickly.

Justice Jaffar Raza issued the written order regarding the case. He noted the investigating officer's assurance about completing the investigation. The officer said he would make every possible effort to conclude the probe.

The court said the investigating officer must use all available legal resources. It directed the officer to follow the law during the investigation. The officer also gave assurances about taking further steps when necessary.
