Pakistan, June 22 -- Sharon Osbourne is explaining her absence from an Ozzy Osbourne tribute. Ahead of the first anniversary of the Black Sabbath frontman's death at 76, the Talk alum shared she had to cancel her appearance at the unveiling of her late husband's statue at Hellfest music festival in France on June 18 due to a sudden hospitalisation.

"I'm sorry I couldn't be at Hellfest for the unveiling of Ozzy's statue," Sharon wrote in a June 18 Instagram post alongside a video of the sculpture. "Unfortunately I had an unexpected trip to the hospital earlier in the week." However, she emphasised her support for the special ceremony.
