Pakistan, July 30 -- Shania Twain is looking back without looking back in anger. As the country-pop icon celebrates the release of her seventh studio album, Little Miss Twain, she's opening up about the hardships that shaped both the music and the woman behind it.
"I've already spent all of my life processing the challenges," Twain said. "I'm at a place where I really enjoy looking back on it with a smile."
The 60-year-old singer has overcome more than most. She lost her mother and stepfather in a tragic car crash at 22, raised her younger siblings, survived a painful divorce, battled Lyme disease and fought to save her voice.
Yet her outlook hasn't changed.
