Pakistan, Oct. 5 -- The Pakistan Cricket Board has appointed former Australian fast bowler Shan Tait as the national team's new bowling coach. Tait replaces Ashley Noffke in the role.

The PCB announced the coaching change alongside squads for the upcoming T20I series against Sri Lanka. Pakistan will also play a tri-series involving England and Sri Lanka. Noffke resigned after serving as Pakistan's white-ball bowling coach for around 16 months.

Tait has previous experience with Pakistan's bowling setup. He first took charge as the team's bowling coach in March 2022. He remained in the role until the end of Pakistan's home series against New Zealand in January 2023.
