Pakistan, Aug. 29 -- Shailene Woodley has revealed her disappointment after her scenes were removed from The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The actress had been cast as Mary Jane Watson alongside Andrew Garfield. She discovered about a year later that her role would not appear.

Speaking during a SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations interview, Woodley recalled receiving the news unexpectedly. She said Mary Jane was her favourite character while growing up. Woodley also described Spider-Man as her favourite superhero.
