Pakistan, Aug. 8 -- The leadership of the Senate and National Assembly (NA) has agreed to strengthen cooperation between the two Houses. They said closer coordination would support parliamentary stability.

Senate Chairman Yousuf Raza Gilani met National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah in Islamabad on Saturday. The meeting covered parliamentary affairs, national issues and coordination between institutions.
