Pakistan, Aug. 4 -- Security forces conducted effective intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) over the past two months under the Azm-e-Istehkam vision, security sources said on Monday.

According to the sources, security forces destroyed multiple terrorist hideouts during the operations in North Waziristan. "Several terrorists were killed during an operation in the Khatti Killi area of North Waziristan," the sources said.

A large quantity of weapons, ammunition and other equipment was also recovered from the terrorists killed in the operation, they added. "Several terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Khawarij were also injured during the operations," the sources said.
