Pakistan, Sept. 21 -- Security forces killed 37 militants during operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and border areas. The operations targeted what authorities described as Indian-backed Fitna al-Khawarij militants. Authorities said the actions followed recent terrorist attacks in the province. The operations focused on Kohat, Hangu, Tall and the Pak-Afghan border region.

According to the Information Ministry, forces carried out intelligence-based operations on September 20. Security personnel targeted militant hideouts and safe locations in Kohat and Hangu. Air operations also targeted locations linked to groups responsible for recent attacks. Nine militants were killed during the operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
