Pakistan, Sept. 4 -- Security forces killed 12 terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan's Kalat district. The Inter-Services Public Relations confirmed the operation on Friday.

According to ISPR, security forces launched the operation on Wednesday. The action followed reports about the presence of terrorists linked to Fitna al Hindustan.

The military's media wing said troops identified and monitored the terrorists' hideout. Security forces then carried out a targeted operation and destroyed the hideout.

ISPR said all 12 terrorists were killed during the operation. Security forces also destroyed a cache of ammunition and improvised explosive devices at the site.
