Pakistan, Aug. 7 -- Pakistan's security forces killed 10 terrorists during two separate intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, dealing another blow to militant networks operating in the region. The military said the operations targeted members of Fitna al Khawarij and reflected the country's continued commitment to eliminating terrorism through coordinated and intelligence-driven actions.

The first operation took place on August 6 in the Azam Warsak area of South Waziristan after terrorists attempted to attack security forces' checkposts. Troops responded quickly and engaged the attackers in a fierce exchange of fire, successfully foiling the assault and killing eight terrorists during the operation.
