Pakistan, Aug. 6 -- Karakoram Highway has been closed for all kinds of traffic due to floods and land sliding at Geeni on Wednesday. According to spokesman for Gilgit Baltistan Police, Geeni ( Altasi Nullah) segment of Karakoram Highway has been closed due to floods and land sliding. Traffic and movement has also been affected in the area due to highway closure. Meanwhile, people have been urged to avoid unnecessary travelling and contact police helpline 15 for assistance and guidance. District administration has started relief activities and remove rubble with heavy machinery.
