Pakistan, July 1 -- The Balochistan government has imposed Section 144 across Kech district for 30 days, citing the prevailing law and order situation and the need to maintain public safety.

According to a notification issued by the Balochistan Home Department, the restrictions came into effect in view of security concerns in the district, which includes the city of Turbat.

Under the order, all political gatherings, public meetings, demonstrations and rallies have been banned throughout the district during the 30-day period. Authorities said the restrictions are intended to help maintain peace and prevent any activities that could disrupt public order.
