Pakistan, June 23 -- The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has approved the country's first digital financing product dedicated solely to women-led Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Under this product, the Company will offer women entrepreneurs asset financing ranging from PKR 100,000 to PKR 1.5 million, based on the outcome of the credit assessment of each borrower, said SECP press release issued here.

The initiative marks a significant step towards SECP's agenda of promoting financial inclusion and expanding access to formal finance for women entrepreneurs, a segment that has traditionally remained underserved in the country.
