Pakistan, May 9 -- Indonesian authorities have resumed search operations for three hikers missing after the eruption of Mount Dukono on the island of Halmahera. The victims include two Singaporeans and one Indonesian. Rescue teams are working in difficult conditions as volcanic activity continues in the area.
At least 100 rescuers, including military and police personnel, have been deployed to locate the missing hikers. Authorities are also using thermal drones to assist in the search near the crater. Officials said operations are concentrated within a 700-metre radius of the volcanic site.
