Pakistan, Aug. 31 -- The Supreme Court has rejected another request for an early hearing of a contempt petition concerning Imran Khan's hospital transfer. The petition was filed by his sister, Uzma Khan, over the implementation of a previous court order. The court has already scheduled the matter for September 16.

Uzma Khan had challenged the failure to fully implement the Supreme Court's August 18 order. That order directed authorities to move the PTI founder to Shifa International Hospital in Islamabad. She later asked the court to take up the contempt case urgently during the current or following week.
