Pakistan, June 12 -- The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) launched on Thursday its inaugural Research Agenda for 2026-2029.

As per the press release, the Research Agenda reflects SBP's research priorities in an evolving global and domestic economic landscape, characterized by rapid technological advancements, recurring supply shocks, climate change, and persistent structural challenges.

"In line with SBP's statutory objectives and the SBP Vision 2028, the Agenda provides a comprehensive roadmap to strengthen the analytical underpinnings of the central bank's policy formulation and regulatory design," the statement read.
