Pakistan, Aug. 5 -- The State Bank of Pakistan, Tuesday, enhanced the aggregate exposure limit of unrated large private sector borrowers of all banks and development finance institutions from existing Rs 3 billion to Rs 10 billion.
The decision has been taken keeping in view the changes in macroeconomic environment and feedback received from the banking industry, and it will come into effect from September 30, 2026, a circular issued by Banking Policy and Regulations Department of the central bank specified.
