Pakistan, Aug. 14 -- Foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) increased by $14 million during the week ended August 7, 2026, reaching $17.057 billion, according to data released by the central bank on Thursday.
The SBP said the country's total liquid foreign reserves stood at $22.498 billion as of August 7, compared with $22.484 billion a week earlier.
The reserves held by commercial banks stood at $5.441 billion, taking the country's total liquid foreign reserves to $22.498 billion. The latest increase pushed SBP-held reserves to $17,057.0 million, up from $17,043.0 million recorded a week earlier.
