Pakistan, June 29 -- The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced that banks and financial institutions across the country will observe a bank holiday on July 1, resulting in the suspension of public banking services for the day. Customers are advised to complete any urgent transactions before the holiday to avoid inconvenience.

According to the central bank, all commercial banks will remain closed for public dealings on July 1. However, bank employees will report to work as usual and continue performing internal administrative and operational responsibilities throughout the official bank holiday.
