Pakistan, Sept. 22 -- Saudi Arabia has unveiled its first vehicles from homegrown automaker Ceer as the kingdom develops a domestic car industry. The first two models feature futuristic designs inspired by science-fiction vehicles.

The premium electric sedan and SUV are called EXOBOT and feature striking designs similar to those seen in Tron. Both vehicles have gullwing doors and no traditional pillars between the front and rear doors.

The two electric vehicles are expected to go on sale in Saudi Arabia in early 2027. Ceer launched in 2022 through a partnership between Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund and Taiwanese electronics company Foxconn.
