Pakistan, June 29 -- Employers across Saudi Arabia have been given a final reminder to renew work permits or transfer the services of foreign workers before June 30, as a new automated system will take effect on July 1. The Qawa platform warned that companies failing to complete the required procedures before the deadline could face administrative complications and financial liabilities.
According to Qawa, which operates under the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, foreign workers whose work permits have remained expired for more than three months will be automatically removed from their employer's records starting July 1.
