Pakistan, Aug. 4 -- Saudi Arabia has introduced mandatory food vouchers for Umrah pilgrims from Pakistan and three other countries. The new policy will take effect from the first of Rabi-ul-Awwal. Moreover, it aims to improve food services and strengthen the overall Umrah experience.

The policy will apply to pilgrims from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, and Egypt. Each pilgrim will receive a unique digital code linked to their Umrah visa. Consequently, they can use the code to receive meals from approved restaurants through the Nusuk platform.
