Pakistan, July 22 -- Senior officials from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have used coordinated social media posts to reaffirm the close relationship between the two Gulf nations, signalling efforts to ease months of diplomatic tensions.

Saudi Minister of Media Salman Al-Dosary and UAE National Media Authority Chairman Abdulla bin Mohammed Alhamed published similar messages on X at the same time on Tuesday, highlighting the historical, cultural and strategic ties shared by both countries.
