Pakistan, June 16 -- Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Industries and Production Haroon Akhtar Khan on Monday chaired a meeting with a delegation from Alibaba.com to explore avenues for cooperation aimed at strengthening Pakistan's digital economy, promoting industrial growth, and enhancing the export potential of small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

The meeting, attended by Federal Secretary for Industries and Production Saif Anjum, SMEDA Chief Executive Officer Nadia J. Seth, Joint Secretary Freedoon Akram Sheikh and other senior officials, focused on expanding Pakistan's digital trade ecosystem and increasing the global online reach of local businesses, a news release said.
