Pakistan, Aug. 2 -- Samara Weaving is officially joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Deadline reported on July 31 that the Australian actress has been cast as fan-favourite mutant Emma Frost in Marvel Studios' upcoming X-Menreboot. The casting gives Weaving the chance to bring one of Marvel's most complex characters to life. Emma Frost is known in the comics for evolving from a powerful supervillain into a superhero, with telepathy serving as her signature ability. Weaving has built a reputation as one of Hollywood's rising genre stars through roles in Ready or Not, Scream VI, The Babysitter, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri and Bill & Ted Face the Music. She most recently appeared in Ready or Not 2: Here I Come and Over Your ...
