Pakistan, June 10 -- The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced a 15-member squad for the cricket competition at the Asian Games 2026, with opening batter Sahibzada Farhan appointed captain of the side.

The cricket tournament at the Asian Games will be held in Aichi-Nagoya from September 19 to October 4, with 10 teams competing for the gold medal. Cricket matches are scheduled to begin on September 24, while the medal matches will take place on October 3.

Farhan, who has represented Pakistan in 46 T20 Internationals, will lead a squad that blends experienced players with emerging talent. The 30-year-old batter has scored 1,305 runs in T20Is, including two centuries and 10 half-centuries. Abdul Samad has been named vice-captain.
