Pakistan, Sept. 5 -- The Rupee on Friday appreciated by 01 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs 277.41, compared to the previous day's closing of Rs277.42. According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs 277.95 and Rs 278.45, respectively. The price of the Euro against the rupee increased by Rs 0.46 and closed at Rs 322.38 against the previous day's closing of Rs 321.92, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). The Japanese Yen went up by 01 paisa to close at Rs 1.77, whereas the exchange rate of the British Pound witnessed an increase of Rs1.08 and closed at Rs 375.53 compared to the previous day's Rs 374.45.
