Pakistan, Oct. 6 -- The Rupee on Monday appreciated by 1 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs 277.06 compared to the previous day's closing of Rs 277.07. According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the dollar's open-market buying and selling rates were Rs 278 and Rs 278.10, respectively. The price of the Euro against the rupee decreased by Rs 0.89 and closed at Rs 310.71 against the previous day's closing of Rs 311.60, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). The Japanese Yen remained unchanged at Rs 1.75, whereas the exchange rate of the British Pound witnessed an increase of Rs 0.71 and closed at Rs 366.56 compared to the previous day's Rs 365.85.
