Pakistan, Oct. 16 -- Rupee on Thursday appreciated by 3 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs 276.92, compared to the previous day's closing of Rs 276.95. According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the dollar's open-market buying and selling rates were Rs 277.50 and Rs 280.25, respectively. The price of the Euro against the rupee increased by Rs 0.72, closing at Rs 310.77 against the previous day's rate of Rs 310.05, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). The Japanese Yen went up by 1 pasia and closed at Rs 1.75, and the British Pound witnessed a decrease of Rs 0.22 and closed at Rs 367.18 compared to the previous day's Rs367.40.
