Pakistan, Nov. 7 -- In a landmark development, RUDA has Pioneered the validation mechanism of methane capture for its already accentuated Carbon Credits and ITMOs (Internationally Transformed Mitigation outcomes) from the Mehmood Booti Dump Site, which is converted into an environmental park.

As methane is the major contributor for the increased atmospheric temperature and GHG (Greenhouse Gases) emissions with a capacity to retain heat, therefore, RUDA for the first time in the country started its journey of mitigation through solid waste pathways of methane by, first cascading tipping points and then re-enforcing the feedback loop.
